Two Easter Bunnies

Our Boy Scout Troop put on the town
Easter Egg Hunt this morning.

Even though he's a teenager,
I still  had to get a picture

of my son with the Easter bunny. 

 I found this little guy hopping around

before the Easter Egg Hunt.

 I think he was checking in

to make sure our Easter Bunny was

doing his job properly.

Gotta watch those Easter bunnies.

Go Forth and Bloom

A flower, wet from the rain, waiting for the promise

of a sunny day to bloom. Go ahead. Go forth and bloom.

Have faith that the sunny days will arrive.

Hold those sunny days inside your heart for the days

the clouds come creeping in. 

Spring Life

On this wonderful rainy day, I had the opportunity

to be out and about. I noticed how beautifully green

everything has become with the recent rains.

I photographed various trees and shrubs that

showed wonderful spring life.

 

 The flowers shown above were all blooming on trees.
 This last picture, and several of the others,

all came from the same tree. I've always
called it a tulip tree as thatis what it reminds
me of. Anyone know what kind
of tree it really is?

Watertower

On a recent bright sunny morning I decided to photograph

 a water tower as I was driving past.

 I liked the perspective with the nice blue

sky and clouds above it.

I've taken some family photographs and senior pictures
for friends and family. I really enjoy it.

Before I became interested in photography,

less than 1 1/2 years ago,

I didn't notice.

I didn't notice so many things.

My eyes have been opened.

I feel as if the world is my canvas.

I never used to think of photography as art,

but that's changed as well. 

I'm not sure I would have looked twice at this building

and the concrete walkway leading across to it.
